Is your cup empty? Is it half full? Does it still have a remnant of the past, of what used to be? I tell you, unless the cup is empty, I cannot, I will not fill it again. For if the oil is bad, if the oil is old, if the oil is rancid, it will contaminate all the new. So let go, let go of the old, the stale and the rancid. Behold, I do a new thing. Clean the inside of the cup. Be prepared. Be washed. Be ready for a fresh infilling of My spirit. For as you pour out and empty yourself, you will be filled again and again and again. The oil that flows never goes stale. The oil that flows never goes stagnant. The oil that flows does not go rancid. So allow Me to clean you, be prepared to flow in Me and in My spirit sayeth the Lord God Almighty.
I would ask you, have you been refreshed? No? Well, allow My living waters to wash over you. Allow the rain of My spirit to flood every area of your life. Are you dry and weary? Then come to Me, drink deep of the living waters. Come into My presence with a pure heart. Come with praise and worship. Allow Me to be your pillar of cloud by day and your pillar of fire by night. Allow My love to permeate your very soul and restore and refresh you. For today is the day of refreshing. Today is the day, I have come to abide in and with you sayeth the Lord of hosts.
Have you taken in My word? Have you allowed it to become a part of you? Has My visage shown forth? As you take in My word and allow My spirit to fill you, you become more like Me. Soon, all those around you will only see Me. Take in all I have for you. Drink deep from the cup in My hand. Rest in Me and allow Me to open the floodgates of heaven. For I will pour out as much as you will allow Me to. I will pour into you as much as you will take in, as little or as much you yield to Me. I am willing to give you so much more. For I desire you to shine forth and show forth who I am, to be the direct reflection of Me on this earth sayeth the Lord.
Do you know it? Do you believe it? Nothing can separate you from My love. Not height, nor depth, nor angel, nor demon, nor principality or sin. For remember, I loved you while you were yet in sin. Nothing can separate Me from loving you. Run as you may, hide as you might, I still love you. Love you as I do, I am a just God. I am a righteous God. I punish the wicked and turn away from the unjust. I correct MY children as a earthly father corrects his own, to keep them, for I love them. For lo, I say it again, I love My children. Yes, some know it not. Come unto Me and know My love for you says the Lord.
Two words that are often misunderstood are repentance and judgment. Generally speaking most people think repentance is saying “I’m sorry” and they think that judgment is punishment. Repentance is a change of heart/mind. Judgment or discernment is determining of what sort something is(good or bad in this case). The reason why people fear judgment so greatly is because they know that they have done wrong and they know they will be judged according to that and punished for their deeds. Judgment proceeds punishment or reward. You are judged righteous or unrighteous and are rewarded for righteousness and punished for unrighteousness. Unfortunately, because of Adam we are judged unrighteous no matter what we say or do. So, unless something CHANGES we cannot be counted righteous and rewarded. Jesus came to CHANGE the relationship status between man and God. Man was separated from God because of man’s now unrighteous nature. Jesus through the shedding of His blood, introduced a new system by which we become righteous. So, we change or repent from unrighteousness to righteousness. When we come to God with our change of heart/mind having faith that He will make us righteous, God sends His grace to change us from unrighteousness to righteousness.(Ephesians 2:8) At this point, all the old deeds, natures, lusts and desires have passed away and all new ones come.(1Corinthians 5:17) Now, you are judged righteous and will be rewarded not because of anything we have done but because of God’s love for us.(Ephesians 2:9) We must make the decision to repent from Adam’s unrighteousness and receive God’s grace so we may be judged righteous in God’s eyes on that day. God has so much for us, we just have to turn away from what we have now, take the step of faith toward Him and receive all that He has to give. It’s not hard, just believe and receive the gift He has for you…a robe of righteousness.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost
Have you been swept away? Have you been swept away with My love for you, with My glory, with My presence and My Spirit? Will you allow Me to? Allow Me to sweep you away. Allow Me to flood over you and sweep you off your feet. Allow Me to come in and flood your being. For it is My good pleasure, it is My desire, to fill you with all I am. Let Me sweep you away with Me, for I desire you. I desire to encompass you with My love, to cover you and wrap myself around you. For as you yield yourself to Me, I will come, I will come in like a flood. I will fill you to overflowing. I will make myself known to you. For you are My beloved and I love you sayeth the Lord.
How badly do you want it? Is it enough to cry out when everyone else tells you to be silent? Is it enough to be condemned by those you love and those around you? Does not My word say, as the deer pants for the water so My soul longeth after thee? How desperate are you? For I hear the cry of the desperate. My ear is not deaf to those who are yearning. Let Me give to you that which you desire. For those who desire a touch from Me WILL receive it. For I see the depths of the heart. I will divide between soul and spirit. I say to you, seek Me. Be desperate for Me. Ask of Me. I will give myself to you and supply you with an over abundance of My presence, My spirit and My joy sayeth the Lord of hosts.
Let Me cradle you in My arms. Let Me hold you close to Me. Allow Me to wrap you in My presence, in My glory and in My fullness. Allow Me to fill you with My spirit. For Lo, many are hungry and thirsty. Yet many are not willing to allow Me to move as I would like. I tell you, it is My desire to hold you. It is My desire to cling to you and love on you. For you see, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. I truly do desire you. Allow Me to hold you and care for you. Allow Me to mold you and lead you into all I have planned for you. Just release all to Me. Allow Me to do it. For I will do all I have said. I will do all and more than you could ask or think sayeth the Lord.
Will you delve deeper into a more intimate relationship with Me? Will you dive deeper into the things I have for you? Will you dig deeper into My word so that you may know Me? For Lo, many just barely even try. Many do not even truly seek Me. For I have said, they that hunger and thirst after righteousness SHALL be filled. If you seek Me you shall find Me. Yet too many seek to know about Me. I say, seek Me. Seek to know Me. Seek to love Me and to desire Me. In your hunger and desperation for Me I will come. I will come and not only fill you but flood you to overflowing with all I am and with all I have sayeth the Lord God Almighty.
Allow Me to open the box of your heart. I will show you and expose exactly where your treasure is. For where your treasure is there will your heart be also. Do you not think I know? Do you think I do not see? For I know the hidden things of your heart. I know the deepest desires. For what goes in is what comes out. For out the of the abundance, the overflow of your heart, your mouth speaks. For I tell you, ANYTHING you treasure above Me is an idol. It has become a false god. For when I asked for your life, I asked for all of it, not just parts, here and there. I ask you, will you give Me your heart today? Will you give Me all of it? Allow Me to be your treasure. Allow Me to be your all consuming prize, the love of your life. For until you do you will NEVER know Me, you will never have a place in My kingdom sayeth the Lord God Jehovah.
Let Me kiss you with My glory. Let Me wrap My arms around you and hold you tight. Allow Me to bring you into My presence with singing and gladness. Do you not know I joy over you? Have you not seen I dance over you? For every time you do My will, every time you obey My voice, you give Me honor, you give Me glory. You are marked as mine. You have been marked as My own. I have set aside the very best for you. As you glorify Me and put Me before all, I will lift you up for all to see. I see your love. I know your heart. Allow Me to cover you and dwell in and amongst you. I desire the very best for you. For you have been called and you have chosen, chosen Me before all else. So let Me love on you and show you off, for I know in all things you will give Me all the glory, honor and praise sayeth the Lord God almighty.
This past week the Lord showed Me a concept that sharpened my viewpoint/mindset on sin in the lives of believers. This concept blessed me and encouraged me in the truth and I felt that it was right to share it:
Christians, real Christians that love Him, do not struggle to not murder. They do not have to try not to murder…murder, in a Christians mind, is totally unacceptable. Christians don’t even think to consider murder. The same goes for rape; no consideration. Even participating in drugs and alcohol, most Christians who love the Lord won’t even consider it. No desire for it. There are a number of Christians, who do not commit these sins, that say it’s impossible not to sin. Yet they do not murder and probably never will…because they don’t have a grid for it; it’s unacceptable. Something that Dan Mohler said that I also say is “our ability to fail doesn’t define us as failures…Our ability to sin doesn’t define us as sinners.” If someone is able to not murder, they should be able to not commit other sins. If someone is able to not murder, then they should be able to not commit one sin. They should be able to not commit any sin. They don’t have a grid for murder. A lot of Christians have a grid for selfishness, unforgiveness, lust, filthiness and many other things that the world does. The church has seen these things as acceptable. If Christians would have the same attitude toward all sin as they do murder they would never sin again. Christians have no struggle to resist a tempting thought from the enemy of murder. In fact, they don’t even feel like they are resisting the devil because it is effortless…they don’t have any desire to do it. The same applies for other sins. With all of this said, many believers still struggle with sins because of a lust that comes once in a while from the enemy to cause them to fall. When a believer is filled with the Holy Spirit they have new conviction. They no longer want to sin, but if they ignore that conviction and sin anyway, instead of relying on the Lord’s power, they will get in a rut where they don’t want to sin but at the same time sin is acceptable to them in a measure. When the enemy comes with temptation these people will fall into the same snare time and time again. To summarize, the reason why people are ensnared by sin is because they have some sort of grid for it. If there is no grid and no desire for sin it won’t be there. And the only way this is possible is by the transforming power of God. All we have to do is seek to know and truly love Him and ask Him to change our hearts for His glory. God does not have grid for sin and neither should we.
34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
4 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
