Christ likeness – by Tanner age 18

The word “Christian” means follower of Christ. Our lives are to be modeled and fashioned after Christ. Christ is our example and our Lord. Now that Jesus is not on the earth we now take His place “;As He is so are we on this earth” , “As the Father has sent Me so I send you.” Now that the Holy Spirit has come, anyone can live and walk as Jesus did. Jesus was fully man, this shows us that we can do everything that Jesus did and live the way that He did. Taking Jesus as our example we can see that it is possible to walk without sin “He was tempted in every way and sinned not.” and the way we deal with the devil speaking lies is by speaking the truth.(Matthew 4:4,7,10). Jesus represented God on this earth when He was here in the flesh. Now it is our job to represent the Father rightly on this earth. Jesus was God in a man doing the will of the Father and now if we have been filled with the Holy Spirit we are manifesting God in us when we choose to come in alignment with the will of the Father. If we follow after Jesus and seek to be like Him, we will find that “seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you, ask and ye shall receive.” Christianity without Christ likeness is like a car without wheels…It’s going nowhere. Might have gas and the engine might run, it might make noise, but the main purpose of the car is lacking. In the same manner, the purpose of a Christian is to bring God glory and you cannot bring God glory without the image of God manifesting in your life. But, without the power of the Holy Spirit this will never be. You need Him in you to produce Godly fruit for lost souls to pick.(Galatians 5:22-23) (Romans 8:19) So choose today, allow God to fill you and change you into His image for His glory.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
