May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!
When someone receives the Holy Spirit, the lense they look through changes. They begin to think holy. God, now that He is in that person, has a louder voice in their life. They have new conviction…holy conviction. God has put a pure and Godly heart within them. The enemy attempts to grab their attention through old thought patterns and escapes but they no longer want to do these things. This is the change that has been made, their heart, what they want. What they want isn’t like everyone else in the world. They are now separate from how the world operates. Everything in them has changed but unless a person feeds this change, they will either stay the same and never grow into spiritual maturity or the darkness of the world. This change is the spirit of God within. The only way a person will continue to mature and change is if they seek after the God that lives within them with all they are. This is how a believer is sustained. God is our salvation and when we get to know Him, we get to know our salvation. We seek God because He is good but salvation comes from a good God. The bible also says, “the goodness of God leads men to repentance.” The bible also says, “we love Him because He first loved us.” After you are filled with the holy spirit you have a pure heart. After you have a pure heart you want God and you want Him because He is good and He loves you. With all of this said, God will not be threaded through the eye of the needle of your life. God will not be a means to which someone achieves blessings. God will only be true salvation and blessing to those who conform to His terms, and His terms are that you love Him with all that you are. When you love Him you will be changed so that you can love your brother properly. (Matthew 22:37-40 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the first and great commandment.39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.) By spending time with God you will know Him, and the more you know Him, the more you will love Him. The new conviction that I previously talked about in this article is what God wants but will only be complete when it is backed up by works.” Faith without works is dead” These convictions will only be fulfilled by the grace and power of God. His assistance and His strength. If you want works to go with your conviction, just go to God, knowing that He has the power to do what needs to be done and He wants to do it, and tell Him what you want and ask Him for His help to achieve it. If God gave you the conviction He will not leave you to struggle with your flesh, He will help you if you submit to Him. (Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:) If God gives you a conviction He will also, if you let Him, cause that conviction to become work. When your convictions change, your works change. Your life is changed. All it takes is for you to obey God and let Him do what He wants to do. All it takes is a pure heart that truly hungers for God and His purposes. The people who love God with all they are and live a holy life are the ones that bring God’s change into the world. All we have to do is submit to Him and He will do the work through us. We are to bring change to this world. This change is within us. God wants to love His people through you. All you have to do is say yes to His call. Become an available vessel for God to use and watch what God does through you. Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me
1 Timothy 1:5 KJV Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
