Welcome 2018 a NEW Year !!!

Two Thousand and Eighteen

One thing that keeps coming to me is this scene in the movie the Passion of the Christ. In this scene Jesus is on His way to Calvary struggling and he collapses. His mother Mary sees him fall and runs up to him. In that moment Jesus looks her in the eyes with such authority and uttermost love and says such a profound statement; a statement that would have an impact and shape the rest of eternity. He says “See mother I make all things new!” As we enter this New Year we need to keep this ever before us. He made ALL things new.

As we enter this NEW year we have much to be thankful for. First of all we are all here and have an opportunity to bring God glory through our lives. We are created in the direct image of God.  Genesis 1:27 KJV- “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Jesus came and displayed what we are called to live out. We need to let the love of God resonate through us and transform us so that the newness that Jesus paid for may be manifest on this earth through us. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

We must see ourselves in that greater image that God designed us in and are called to resemble and manifest. Romans 8:11 KJV- “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” We are His children called and ordained to live a perfect life set apart, holy, and blameless. Joshua 24:15 KJV-“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

We are blessed to be entering yet another year. This year the year of 2018 is going to be a profoundly different year than any other year thus far. God wants to pour out His glory on all flesh, on all people. God’s end time revival will flood this nation and the world once again. It all starts in the hearts of His people.

Revelation 21:5 KJV- “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
